Okies.. here's an entry be4 i forgets everything abt my life..

Since 1st june, life has became complicated, busy and stressful.. getting used to it is not easy, but its becoming a routine (dunno good or bad) loving my kids more each day.. but everything's becoming a chore. sometimes u wonder if mind over body ever works. its sad, but its e truth tt am getting bruises from nowhere.. even be4 e old ones heal.. maybe it'll make my body stronger, or otherwise. however, there's a responsibility in me tt i cant take away. sometimes its tt bad till i'll dream abt it.. its upsetting when my chn got hurt whether its under my supervision or not.. now u see how this job is haunting me. too much of passion becomes overloading responsibilities overtime. u noe wats the contradicting thing.. i love teaching =)

alrights. been back for quite some time alr.. pics will be up on facebook =)
anyways, had a great trip with Jill, but i think we agree tt 9 days a bit too much for both of us. not enough $ to spend too! argh! haha. but wells, guess its realli a memorable trip for me. somewhere which feels like home =)

gonna begin work veri soon. so i haf to declare tt i will be busier these days.. realli busy.. i think the ECH graduates will noe very well. i'll be getting used to the routines and 'full-time' responsibilities. hopes for the best! =)

this mth is full of excitements. my first week of "full time" work in the centre, full time with the kids. my 10 days of holiday. my one week of break after tt. and sth tt changed my life, and directions. but not extremely. juz filled with love and hopes. =) hopefully i'll be able to update soon abt my first week of work. wish mi luck! miss ya all!

its a weird feeling wen u've got no assignments to complete, own time own target.. and now taking a class on my own. perhaps its sth to get used to. there's much more to get used to. finally graduating from NP is a satisfying yet saddening truth. u noe tt ya hard work have been paid off. cox u realli put in hard work. but u noe things will not be the same anymore. there's a few things tt i would like to say in this entry. for those who dun seem to understand, u dun haf to. juz some tots and feelings about my 2 yrs of BSc.

1st yr 1st sem:
Everything seemed inspiring and worth trying out. Professor Felicity Crawford and Susan Kosoff made me see a whole new world of the Early Childhood Industry. We aim to advocate for change, becox of them, or maybe one of them. Yet, drama and the Arts thought me things tt i nv knew its importance. things tt are fun yet a learning point for children. things tt laid beautiful memories tt i'd rather left it untouched, unmentioned (if there's such a word).

1st yr 2nd sem:
things changed tremendously. sometimes i wonder how i survived. but i did, and cant realli remember e details. tts a good thing. juz let my memory fail. its alright. sometimes ppl like to put themselves in the spotlight. i nv wanted to. NEVER. however, i became one. strangely, i began to understand how pride and ego works. and i see tt the world does not spin ard one person onli. i see a clearer view from the outside. i'm finally safe. quietly safe. thanks to those whom brought me experiences tt i can realli learn from. the weaknesses and strengths of frenships.

2nd yr 1st sem:
thank god(s) i've got them. Team 2. my darlings who pulled mi thru boston immersion and lotsa life changing moments for me. somehow, am glad tt things changed. thank god(s) it changed. cox i made stronger frenship which helped me forgot how the last few worked out, or did not. cox its not impt anymore. even a child learn to pull himself up after a fall. i did it. i tried to be fair. but too bad, life's always unfair. its a good thing tt u learnt how to be fair to yaself. thanks to Team 2, my gals and those who gave me the worst and the bestest. Team 2 played a major role in my life in Wheelock College (Singapore) u'll see why.

2nd yr Last sem:
Team 2 + 1. Always there for one another. you noe how much i love you gals and how much i thank all of you for ya company, support and all. we've survived the last sem with joy, stress, laughter and tears of cox. but i noe tt this frenship is for real. sth tt words cant describe. things changed in this sem to. for e better. for two person who felt the warmth in each other arms. for 11 gals who held hands tightly and walked through the toughest storms. for the healing i recieved. am cured. need not to be protected anymore. dun be afraid to hurt me. cox i'll grow out of it. nuttin tt i cant do now. cox i've got strength from my loved ones. so much tt it overcomes almost everything.

okies.. kinda emo hor.. haha. but well well, its not goodbye.

okies this is gonna be another very random post. i cant believe that a graduating soon! so soon tt i din wan it to end, although it's a new beginning for me too. well mainly, not tt i missed the workload, but i will seriously misss the company (Team 2 + Aisha) and many many more!!! well well, i'll get over it. haiz.. anyways, my plan for working isnt veri smooth due to YEP trip planning and stuff. am looking forward to work wif my lovely kids.. but yar, there's some stuff tt needa be settled ba. =) well, its been so long since i last blogged about wat am up to. so i've decided to give it a miss, and those who are in my facebook acc, i think u guys can see my life from the pics tt i uploaded ba.. tts abt it. haha. nuttin big, nuttin small. but everything is significant to me. =)

okies.. this is gonna be kinda random. juz to make sure tt i keep an eye on my blog. haha. watever.. okie. so.. am busy. *excuse* haha. well well, juz kinda lazy to take time to upload e mani pics and type abt it.. gonna do it wen i feel less lazy ba.. e worst and best thing tt could ever happen to me is schooling. haha. contradicting it seems. but those who are schooling would understand what i meant. so some near-to-the-future news:

Will be going for a holiday with Jill!!! FINALLY! yeah! hehe. To Taiwan.. Our dunno how mani yrs dream to go over and haf fun. well, its coming true. so yar..! =) but i muz admit tt am going away for a fairly long holiday. 10days. 14th to 23rd of May. so yar.. if u guys cant contact me then, u should noe where am i =)
Graduation ceremony on 3rd of June. However!!!! cant seem to allow all my frens and family members to go. cox its held is a pretty small theater in NP. well well, am gonna do my best, but pls do not be disappointed if i cant bring all of ya :(
This is gonna be exciting. Am starting half-day work on the 1st of June and officially full-day on the 15th. *subject to changes* cox still haf to settle the YEP thingy. well well, we shall see how it goes. kinda excited to begin working full-time, but will also miss my gals a lot. not only we cant get to see each other often, it might be harder to meet up with diff grps of frens wen u are onli free on weekends. and how mani weekends u haf in a week? 2!!! *should not be greedy*

The story began ten over yrs ago.. She forgot when is the first time she met him. All she remembered was his silence, peace and small body. She did not know how to address him. Until she was taught, she realized that's a name that she's very familiar with. He surprised her with things that she did not learned before. She remembered that he rode on bicycle everyday. But she's unsure. He will buy packets of dried leaves that she thought they were herbs. Well, herbs for him. He rolled them gently, but it appeared untidy. She wished that she could help. But their interaction was minimal. He started to light the rolled paper and took a puff. She realized that was sth she could relate to as well. It was never something that she liked to watch. She knew its bad. But it kept him alive, a goal for living. She could not remember any conversation with him at all. Blame the family ties and complications. She bearly remembers his face. Now that he's gone to a far away, better place, she search for memories. Yet all memories are taken away. Driven away by the anger she had for his son. But she knows she loves him. For he is her grandfather. Family relationship never changes no matter how much you wish for it to never happen at all. Now she's 21. Holding on to herself, protecting her love ones. Wishing for a simpler life, she's still hanging on.

finally a lil free to blog.. so here's one of my happening nites and events.. HaPpY HaLLoWeen! well, few a us booked a chalet at downtown east. to spend halloween together. haha! so jo and i went late and den we all managed to dress up be4 going out for parade. lol! after walking down e stairs, we felt weird. like ppl looking.. well parading means for ppl to look lar. but! juz feel so weird. and not safe at all. so we decided to go clubbing. thanks to junxian we onli needa spend $ on one cab. double o was packed. but yar we still wana go. haha. great nite wif good music and good company. thanks gals! so e next day, i woke up ard 3plus. haha! den we went to cycle... did jo's make up.. hehe. den dinner and movie.. nice break for me after working and all. thanks gals! it was really memorable!

Went to watch HSM3 with my lovely gals.. Owner and Susu.. had dinner wif susu (pizza hut) be4 zhi hui rushed to JP. haha. and e movie was....

FABULUS!!! lol... did teared a lil too.. its like no more!?!?! realli no more?!?!?! haiz.. but i seriously did enjoyed the movie!!! smiled e whole while except for the touching parts like.. *32.7 miles away from you...*... oh manz....... heart melted.. so yar.. this HSM craze will go on for a while longer.. juz edited my schedule for nov.. and den realized tt am not tt busy anyway! haha. so am still trying to fill it up. was feeling much better alr. am also trying not to count the number of blue blacks but its juz so hard!!! cox it's on my hands and i can still see it!!! here's a solution for myself: focus on my limb, clumsy me!!! haiz. things should get exciting from now on. no more living in the rain. there's always sunshine after the rain rite? =)

my bro's b'day, but he went to genting for his b'day trip alr. this yr mine is to cambodia! yeah! hehe. oh ok. anways, me and my galfrens went for a special play and then went for dinner at clarke quay. we settled at waraku and this is wat we have..

jill and i went to attend our 2nd or 3rd music express finals. well it got a lil draggy in e middle wen there were no surprises, but i realli think tt dey put in e effort alr. sadly, e olympics closing ceremony drawn most audiences back at home instead of in e auditorium. e talented yet playful melvin... e always busy.. veri busy.. but always cheerful and fun-loving Lester!e mysterious, hillarious zhi wen lao shi.. haha!

25th Aug, 08:

JoFly, A.Slow and me went to haf dinner at botak jones.. but we had spagetti instead. hehe. and mine is seriously tasteless.. :( guess which is mine?but well, after tt i met nanda for his botak jones, and sher's fren had his dinner there too! but this day is e day where i think i wore e wrong top out. i think i look like a kid. this is wat JoFly and A.Slow did to me.

30th Aug, 08:

A.Slow. JoFly, Nai, Jamie, Jane, YuJie, WanLin and me went for this GV outdoor movie. we're fortunate that the rain stopped abt an hr be4 e movie! yeah! well though we got a good spot, i shouldn't have let a few gals sat in front for us.. so close to us tt we cant even lie down and watch.. backside aching.. back aching.. haha. but still, we had fun! okies.. i met my long-never-see cousin Jusmin too!

went for free trial dance lessons wif eileen, at danzpeople.. realli nice to dance again.. but realli feel tt am old alr.. haha. thanks eileen for e company! =)

6th Sept, 08:

went to derrick's autograph session with my cousins. so long since i met them! ok, actualli no, i met jusmin on e GV movie day. hehe. so here's e reunion! and after tt, penny and i got tempted to sing.. so we went down to chinatown and visited kster. hehe. and after tt we had porridge! yeah! its a realli fun and happy day wif her and her! hehe. thanks gals!

Farewell Zhi Hong, Congrats to Wei Tai's POP! jill and i went, reei was late as she went home to put down her books and change attire, and she couldn't make it cox its alr late. so we met up at clarke quay, went for dinner at billy bombers, went to this thai pub (zhi hong brought us there). its a unique experience, but i wish tt i could stay thoughout to gain e full experience. hehe. so here's some random pictures =)

Juz a lil update before i disappear on the 20th and nobody noes where am i.. haha. am going back to my babies!!! = Cambodia!!! well.. was a lil hesitant to go initially cox of the overloading assignments and unwell me. not being able to think properly nowadays. but well, hopefully it'll get better. but juz got a green light from mummy tt i can go to cambodia! yeah! so yar.. hopefully we can get a cheaper airtix to go back.. cox dunno why e bloody airline got another promo which is actualli more ex! haiz. okies so now e plan is to go on e 20th and be back on e 29th. ok this is e first thing.

e next ting is regarding my birthday. as some of my closer frens noe tt it's coming alr, but not yet of cox. and e thing is am not having any mass celebration this yr. well i din realli planned to haf one though. its tiring and weird to have all ya frens from pri to uni, who mostly dunno each other at all. makes sense rite! plus i couldnt find a suitable place to house so mani ppl (cox i wan air-con). haha! well well, so i guess will juz go out wif diff grps of frens and enjoy myself :) but there's still gonna be a mini family celebration and mummy asked mi to ask a few of my closest frens. but e thing is!!!! i think i've got a lot of close frens tt i might wanna invite. saddest part is... my hse is not very e big la hor.. so if i missed out anyone who is reading this entry rite now.. pls understand.. oh. most importantly to everyone who might be going out wif me to enjoy enjoy, my party days will be:

From 9th Oct to 12 Oct.. Thurs nite to sun evening. Why evening? cox am working e next day! haha. tts not a prob manz. but anyways, am still planning to go out wif diff grps of ppl. so be4 i planned out anything (most unlikely. haha) if u guys would like to party these few days tt i'd mentioned, pls let mi noe asap! :) but most prob i'll onli do e planning and stuff after i come back from cambodia ba. realli no energy to even complete sch work le.

Last but not least, to continue from e 'parties', if i planned sth, u guys muz appear according to a simple theme. okie, let mi back track a lil cox i found these pics.. hehe. well went out wif sher, reei and jo if am not wrong.. cox its a few weeks ago alr.. haha! after 2 of them left, sher and i decided to roam ard more.. and den go for a lil dessert.. though we're quite full.. so she introduced mi to eat you tiao (doughsticks) with soya drink! hehe. actualli i always hear ppl saying tt it's nice.. but nv realli tried.. i onli tried dipping it into coffee.. hehe. but it's realli good and i will do it Again! haha. thanks gal for e lovely day :)

13th Aug:

in preparation for shereen's b'day, we have lots of outings together. this is wen we shopped for her b'day present and she doing her hair.. yeah! she's been wanting to have bling bling on her hair extension, so it's a dream come true!!! =) i remembered tt we're actualli quite tired cox some of us brought the STATs txtbk and its super duper heavy.. so we rested at Mc for ice-cream be4 heading home.. always nice to have them ard.. :)

14th Aug:

Shereen's b'day celebration at sentosa resort!! yeah!! we've all been waiting for this day to come! especially sher of cox. hehe. sher and i went for e morning lesson and den, together wif yu jie, laureen drove us to her hse to grab her stuff be4 she drove us down to sentosa. its a nice place indeed!!! worth e money manz! can consider to book for my gals as well :) den we decided to go the beach while waiting for e rest.. but! e sun is super hot and think we cant tahan, though dey wan their tan.. haha. so we went back into e swimming pool and have a cool swim! well.. time passed quite fast wif all e ppl watching.. gossiping.. trying to be funny.. and constantly watching 2 hot models taking pics near, and in e pool. hehe. wen all arrived, most of us were in e pool, and e poor sher, laureen and me were like so hungry and so cold alr!!! our wrinkled skin is disgusting. haha. anways, we had fun lar.. so we washed up and head for dinner.. jap food.. well a caution from me.. if u seriously have no other place to eat, den go to e jap rest at siloso.. it's reali... so-so onli... ignore ya craving or so watever for a better place and food okays.. but e good thing is tt we can catch a lil of e musical fountain show.. wif lil fireworks. hehe. yeah! by den i wasn't feeling veri well.. headaches and all.. but i had coffee and felt better.. den we head to cafe delmar and had a hell lots of fun!!!! love them so much!!! den wen we get back to e room, i showered and lie on e bed alr.. melted.. haha. good sleep but needa wake up early to go back to sch for the Mandala grp meeting.. well e meeting went well, and here is our hardwork!!! =)

16th Aug:

went to e flyer wif jill... haha but actualli e free coupons from e NDP cant be used.. but e nice guy let us haf a ride. while waiting, we entertained ourselves wif photo-taking.. while on e ride.. more pics taken.. haha. i would say tt... DO NOT GO FOR E RIDE IF ITS NOT FOR FREE. haha! well well.. i got a lil giddy wen its going up, and there's seriously nuttin to do and not much to see! haiz.. huge disappointment.. but well, u can go see it wen all e cranes are taken away.. haha.

19th Aug:

alex asked me to acc him out.. well well.. its been so long since i've met him.. and now he'd called mi out and i think he realli need someone to talk to.. so.. wat r frens for rite. buddy! haha. so we ate at cine.. den watched e movie midnite meat train.. it scared e hell out of me! i mean i seriously dun watch horror due to my past experience of crying in the theatre while watching house of wax.. i juz dun understand how can ppl do such things to one another. but den, luckily there's a story behind e movie, though its quite expected.. but well, thanks for e movie bro! take gd care alrights! =)

we had this video filming for our vid presentation on e 18th of sept. so all of us have to be filmed. haha! so wat i did was....... dun wanna tell u.. juz show u guys pics first.. in case some of my classmate accidentally visited my blog den no more surprises on tt day alr. hehe! but well, i enjoyed. after tt, i met up wif agatha at tpy.. finally met her after i came back from boston.. well misha was supposed to meet up after work too.. but.. hmph.. haha! she noes, i noe, and aga noe can alr.. hehe. its always been so nice talking to my Angels.. no matter is wif one or two.. e feeling is still e same as poly days.. we chatted abt so mani things.. supported one another.. and laughed together. thanks for coming to meet up at tpy gal.. hehe. next time we'll go to e west ok! haha. miss ya!!! *muackx*

29th Aug: jenny (my sec sch modern dance instructor) left me a msg on facebook days ago asking me abt tix.. which obviously i had no clue abt it. den i found out tt its their dance performance again! so, dawn contacted me too.. and we went for it. this is my sec sch junior, but super pro in dance! hehe. u go gal! oh yar, and shi hui is born on e same day as me!!! hehe. though i was feeling sick.. gals i was realli feeling sick ok.. but den it's an opportunity to meet up wif my lovely dance instructors and fren of mine.. and its 18 bucks! so yar.. haha. its was great! i mean, mdm lim (my sec sch chinese dance instructor) tried sth diff and its nice to watch the gals and guys do their thing. i juz missed dancing. miss them, miss e thing! =)

7th Aug, 08:

reei gave me an early birthday present - tix to watch high sch musical on ice!!! yeah!!! i wanted to go for it even be4 i went to boston. thankx gal!!!! i realli enjoyed it, along wif her company of cox.. after sch, we went to airport for dinner as i wanna haf e ban mian.. haha! den rush down to expo.. wen we were abt to ask someone abt our seats, i realized tt she's michelle!!! my bro's fren!!! haha. i din noe tt a few of them went to work for this event. dey get to watch for free and get paid!!! oh manz! haha. but still, reei and i concentrated for e whole show and realli liked it :) its full of surprises, great stunts, perfect songs, unpredictable effects and all... simply love it :) half way thru, mich even came up to me and asked if i wanna watch another time cox dey might need help for e next day's performance. but sadly, i cant cox i've got sth on.. well well. its nice enough to see her there! thankx gal for e gift and company!! i realli love e performance! excellent, splendid, amazing!!! :) 8th Aug, 08: Enfant family day! we went to enfant before we left together wif them. i am so touched wen this lil gal, lying down as it was their nap time, excitedly spread out her arms and hugged mi real tight wen i sat near to her and called out her name. it was e best moment tt day =) after tt e journey to the downtown east is realli long.. as there was heavy traffic.. but well, e kids did entertained mi a lil. hehe. well i had a lil muscle training session wen i hung many kids' bags ard my arms and walked back into e chalet. i tell u... after tt thing.. i cant raise my arms up!!! cannot feed myself.. even had problem washing my hair.. haha.. limitation is scary.. anyways, had fun barbequeing wif e parents and talking to e teachers.. :) thankx for e day!!! =) ___________________________________________________________________

Shaphy went home alone sitting on e chilly bus. it was initially crowded with youngsters chattering from e back. as it goes down to e neighbourhood, passengers get lesser and lesser. Shaphy wonders why do e bus goes e same way as the mrt stations.. but well, she noes tt she's going home. however, her fear is rising. reaching kallang is another option to get down and take a cab. if not, no more alighting. however, wif 16bucks in her pocket, she decided to sit tight and endure e bus ride. entering geylang feels like a totally diff night city. looking from e inside is fearful. how she wishes tt e traffic could clear for e bus to go right through. but, there comes a stop wif drunkards. yea rite.. take e transport if u drink. seriously ppl should take care of their own body more den their mind. having pple staring at her brings tears to her eyes. but she did not show any fear. enduring to novena, got down e bus, and began crying. e call tt is supposed to be picked up long ago has called back. sometimes, u needa face it alone, she noes. she noes crying will make her feel much better. getting into e cab is e safety zone. nice driver makes sure tt she's safe till he cant see her no more. how to make ppl understand her fear is not caused by anyone, but her surroundings. Shaphy wonders e value of life. a shower and good sleep is all she needs. she could say it as a joke e next day. she tot. nitez.

Hey guys.. finally got e time to blog and let u all noe tt am doing fine over here. juz tt all of us are falling sick one by one. its weird wen we recover from one, we are down with another. haha. anyways, here's e pics and some of my daily reflections! i juz copy and paste! haha!

Day 2:

This morning, I was very touched when I heard Lauren saying that they made the bed for us all on Friday and were very excited to meet us. I really appreciated the hard work and effort they put in to welcome us and make sure that we had a comfortable and good stay in Boston. Last night we slept at around 3am as we mopped the room, wipe all surfaces and unpack our luggage. It was not as tiring because I guess we slept too much during the flights. Firstly, we were given the Charlie tickets, which I really liked because we can have unlimited rides within Boston area and its of 7 days validation. After that, we went to another building where our lectures will be conducted. I am amazed by the building structures. High ceiling in our main classroom and nice designs in the building. I could feel the strong sense of Wheelock culture and commission in the building. Next, we were left free to walk around in the city and make explorations. We walked for quite a while to find a halal restaurant for our friend, but had a great time exploring the city. We took the T to the Harvard station and head for the dragon boat festival. However, we could not find it and it was very serene in the park. Thus, we made our own video of us pretending to row the boats and compete in the race. It was hilarious and I am happy that we had a great time ourselves. Next we went shopping for a while and explored more areas in Boston. Sleep was fine and I am excited about school tomorrow!

Day 3:

The walk to school in the morning is cooling and filled with excitement. Walking through the park refreshed my mind and prepared me for the lessons. Breakfast was good and I enjoyed the food and warm welcome for the chefs. Lesson was interesting as we recapped on the critical thinking processes and Professor Felicity lectured about the critical pedagogy. This triggered our thinking and prepared us to begin reflecting and going through the critical thinking processes again. Lunch was fine and the lesson after that was even more exciting. We engaged on topics about education and assessments in Singapore. Sukuna explained some of the Ministry of Education (MOE)’s regulations and we gained more insight on it. I felt that we had stated many negative sides of assessments and yet thought of what we can do to help improve the learning journeys of our children. I do not like to use the word ‘assessment’, as I felt intimidated by it. IN the past, I am very afraid of tests and exams. In the present, I am afraid to let my children feel that I am assessing them. I would like them to know that I am looking out for their strengths to overcome their weakness. Yet, many of us would most probably focus on how to help them progress. Many times, I felt that children knew we are observing and taking down notes, writing their names. I would like to learn how to make assessments possible in a non-stressful and judgmental environment. Thanks to the president of wheelock college, who invited us for a garden party cum dinner at her house. We were really touched for her warm hospitality and really did enjoy ourselves. I will never forget my first time attending a garden party of my own. I am very excited for the site visits tomorrow as I wanted to learn more about the education culture, how educators assess children in US and how different it will be as compared to Singapore.

Day 4:

Breakfast!!! :)

Today is the first day of our site visits. Our childcare centre is at seaport, thus we need to change a few trains before we can reach there. The weather is hard to bear but I am glad we made it through. I did not set any expectations before I enter the centre. This is so that I do not want to be upset or too excited about things that I did not expected to see. The centre is relatively big, spacious and clearly delineated.
Yun Reei and I were in the toddlers’ class and I feel so homely when we joined the class for observation. I enjoyed seeing the interaction of teacher and child. I enjoyed looking at the children wandering around in the classroom, as they are free to explore the environment.
It feels so much that the teachers do not have to worry about saying the ‘wrong’ word to the children, because they learn together. I remember hearing the teacher say, ‘Remember, sharing is caring’. This is when a little boy refused to share with his friends. I really like the use of words like, ‘oh bad words’. Something that children will learn how to correct their actions or behaviours, instead of what they did wrong. During water play, it was tremendously fun. I enjoyed looking at the children splashing water on the teacher and their freedom if they want to join the activity. If not, they are allowed to play with others that they are comfortable with. The teacher also allows time for children to be initiative and enter the activity themselves.
Back to class, I was so touched when my friends share their experiences with all of us. Jamie’s experienced cultural inequality, Fidah was moved to tears when the children performed meaningful songs about peace and equality, and Sandra shared about the family-run centre that she really enjoyed going. Then I thought back, we did not have a chance to ask any questions to the director. She feels superior and the distance was lengthened when she indirectly reminded us that we are only there for observation purposes. After class, Yun Reei and I wanted to go to the post office, and I suggested by foot. We enjoyed looking the crowd supporting the Boston Red Sox team in the Fenway Park.

I feel that sports bring people together too. We walked and walked and walked!!!! and of cox, took lots of pics! hey see this! my fake husband (harry potter) house!!! haha! However, when we arrived at Prudential Centre, walked ard and post our letters...sat ard at the fountain and bought cheesecake from the cheesecake factory!we were kind of lost like how to take the T. We walked a very long way (to me) back to longwood station, then to look for our other team mates who were having dinner at Busy Bee. We then walked back to Landmark Centre and I guess I figured and walked at least one tenth of Boston. It was so tiring for both of us but it was definitely a once in a lifetime experience!

Day 5:
Today is the third day of school.Breakfast was the same I guess, and I really want to eat till I am full!After that, we headed to the childcare centre. I took infants today and I had great fun interacting with them!I am really amazed by this infant who tried to hold onto me to get up on his tiny feets. And when I carried him to give him a hand, he happily jumped and danced. How can I not smile?I seriously like the way teachers talk to their children and treat them as if their own children. Our lunchy!!! I onli ate this and the maggie mini cup. After that, we had lesson again, and then reei and I went to park street, winter street, for shopping. It was kind of a tourist cum local attraction place as I saw several locals happily and busily shopping as many sales were going on. However, there was this fear that arise when we enter this shop that is tended by the African Americans. Perhaps they were just physically domineering and we do not dare to stay any longer. Finally, I had my Chinese food! I was craving for it because I missed it so much! I had fried rice with char siew and teriyaki beef! Yeah! Perfect!At night, we had a meeting and we almost melted. Because we were too tired from the outing and some did laundry. The sleep was good.

Day 6:
Today I took observed the back-up class, and the teachers were really friendly and they actually asked me to ask them any questions that I may have. This is our (Reei & I) lunch :) SALSA IS YUMMILIOUS!!!We went out for a walk and I am lucky to have that experience. It is memorable. After lessons, Josephine, Wan Ling, Reei and I went to Washington Square and decided to walk down to hall street. However, we realized that there is actually nothing on WS and so we walked a little and we found the medicine that Felicity gave us! Yeah! Nice salesman too! After that we went to trader jones and we were shopping and having fun inside. I am so glad that I went out with them this time. I bought sushi!!!! Haha. Then, we walked down the street to find a restaurant for dinner. However, we visited some more shops and then dragged. Haha. I went into a bookstore and really wanted to buy books! After that we finally decided to settle on Mexican cuisine. E burritos fillings are yummy, but I really do not like the outside. Anyways, the sushi is nice! After that, we went back to the dorm to prepare for laundry washing and meeting. We had a great meeting and I am glad that we get everything into place already. However, the part when I heard sukuna discussing about our class discussion and I got really upset. I do not like her making judgement on how and what we are learning when she did not stay in the class and observe the learning culture of our classroom. But well, I can only stay in my stand and understand that what is important for me in this learning journey.
Laundry is fun and 3 of us (wan ling, reei and me).

Day 7: Last day of the childcare centre visit and we had a great time interviewing her. Just like I had a great time in the preschool classroom. The kids were great and I really love the way the teachers communicate with them and I did acknowledge her for that. After that in class, it was a shocking scene. Felicity had us all sitting down on the floor in a big circle and explained her rationale of what she wants us to learn in these 5 weeks. I was worried because of what I overheard last night. I cried in the end as many of us did. Why don’t they see how much felicity is trying to make us understanding that there are disparity and unfairness everywhere? Why are we questioning her ability when we know how she want us to learn? I seriously do not like that. This is my left hand, because it’s the closest to my heart. After class, sukuna wanted to raise some concerns that she had observed and I do not really think that she brought it across correctly. However, its over. And if it needed to be raised up again, I might have to say how I feel. Then, we most of us met up with felicity to go to a community centre in another neighbourhood and I think that in there, it is dominated by the African Americans. Thank you for a lovely lady who helped us to get there, we got there swiftly and received warm welcome from the president of the CC. The food is good and thanks to patricia and mr cooby for that! Thanks! After that we had group picture and they sent us to the train station. So nice of them to take a walk with us because it was quite dark. The train ride back was pleasant and I must really thank felicity to give us such a great time and experience of our lifes.

okies u might not be able to see e title of this post, but i named it 'ON AIR'.

e more than 22 hrs of flight+transiting is torturous i would say, but happy to gain tt kinda exp. let mi begin wif departure at changi airport. packing was finally completed a few hrs be4 departure. and got a surprise from jill and zhi hui, cox dey told mi tt dey cant go, and realli din expect them to go send us off. but sorry guys tt we haf to go in earlier ya. well.. we're early wen we went in, so e grp decided to go for a light breakfast first. the first flight is to narita airport, and it's abt 7+ hrs. i sat wif a couple tt i dunno and had a quite pleasant flight as i was meddling ard wif e games,movies and music. and food is good!!! i love e bread!!!! haha. din get a chance to take pic cox my cam is in my bag, and bag is on top. haha. poor thing :( but time past rather fast and we excitedly landed on narita airport. everyone was like saying yeah! i've been to japan!!!

haha. to be exact, we've been to one of japan's airport onli. wait for a while and my malay frens haf to go search for food as e airline forgot to prepare for them. so sad u noe. so poor thing. the next flight to detroit was e longest,but interesting one. i had a baby and a caregiver beside me. sadly to hear, he's being adopted to detroit. but! he's from an orphanage in korea, thus i prayed tt his new family will love him as much as dey love each other and he'll be able to grow up happy, strong and healthy. well, eileen, rita and i babysitted him for a while as e caregiver needed to prepare milk, and then he stayed wif us for many hrs. we're glad tt he accompanied us thru the journey. and realli love him too. he's so adorable, curious and bubbly. cox this flight we din get any entertainment, so we slept a lot. yes, i meant a lot!!!!! wen we arrived at detroit, e caregiver repeatedly thanked me cox she said she hardly get any sleep wif babies onboard, and realli appreciated e few hrs of rest. well, i replied thanking her for trusting e baby's care in our hands and realli no problem for everything. after tt, we had to rush for another flight to boston. and wen we arrived at e airport, its a veri, superb long wait to get our luggages. think we waited for an hr or so ba.. den after tt!! funai din get one of her luggage!! worried worried. but luckily, it's gonna be here soon. its sent somewhere else. haiz.. so tts abt it.. as we board e sch bus back to e college, uncle dropped us at e wrong place and we had to travel again. its juz e wrong side of e road. haha. sad to say tt nobody picked us up from e airport, and i felt so lost. but luckily we had plans alr, so its not so bad. e room is nice but weather is warm. we're praying and waiting for e cool weather right now. hopefully it'll come asap :) unpacking and cleaning up of room is a chore. at last, we slept ard 3+ and had to wake up e next morning at 8am. and one more thing, we're sleeping in a used to be emergency exit! haha!tiring day, but we slept a lot also. luckily, we adjusted pretty well and hopefully we'll enjoy BOSTON! :)

hey guys.. though am in boston right now, am still gonna update some events tt took place during may alrights.. juz to help mi remember stuff and all :) so here i go!!! 2ndMay2008: my date with my Angels again. well, to keep it short, we had dinner at teppanyaki, causeway point, den ice cream at swensens. talked a lot, complained a lot and gossiped a lot too!!! haha. love ya gals.! thanks for e time :) 17thMay2008: went to sentosa wif jill again... haha. this time i remembered tt i couldn't realli stand lying down under e scorching sun, doing nuttin!!! so was quite restless and all. but well, guess we enjoyed each other's company and thus so many visits to sentosa! haha. this time, we even walked a lil and took more pics :) at nite, we met up wif agatha and went clubbing at double O. it was quite a scary nite for mi as i realli dun like being surrounded by weird guys. totally weird! but watever, we had fun drinking, dancing and chatting. thanks gals!! 21stMay2008: an evening outing with chinny, dada and reei. after work, we head to city hall to meet chinny den met up wif dada at TCC (MS). we had lots of fun chatting, shopping, eating and all. miss going out wif u gals manz.. and of cox, how can we forgot to take pics?!?! haha. 30thMay2008: finally after e last trip to e zoo, i saw andrea!!! zhi hui, reei and i managed to go to andrea, chong sian and ruby's grad. so happy for them!!! and i realized tt i got restless and bored cox e whole ceremony so bloody long! haha. but well, we survived :) 31stMay2008: Enfant Educare's Open House! :) e educators worked so hard for it and it went quite well i would say :) thanks teachers for my precious experiences and memories. see u gals soon!!! :) 2ndJune2008: went to mrs tan's hse for a mini gathering cox she gave birth abt 4 mths ago! cute lil baby and sweet lil gal :) her husband and her are so blessed with the 2 gals :) well, again, children's identities are to be protected, and so, full of our pics!!!! hehe. 4thJune2008: JAN JAN! happy 10th b'day!! :) this pretty lil gal is my ex-colleague's daughter. she cant realli remember me actualli cox dey say i've changed quite a bit, but in fact, i din! haha. but well, i hope she realli liked the babyG tt we got for her. cox its wat she wanted and her fav colour too.! and here's e working gals!! :) Lots of loves, hugs n kisses,

okie.. now haf to say sth veri saddening.. 10th May, 2008: went to batam wif my gals from my sec sch.. 4 of us head to batam wif lots of excitement, uncertainties and nervourness. haha. but! i think i spoilt it all. i had seasick! its pretty bad. e ferry swayed badly, and made it even worse! well.. u think i felt better after i vomitted onboard? no!!!! subsequently, every 1 or 2 hrs after i ate something, i puked. yucks!!! sorry gals.. :( and i puked everything u noe! literally!!! thanks to agustina's bf to help get med and water for me.. felt a lil better but it onli helped a while.. aniways, we went to shop in e mall, and saw e long lost A&W!!! haha. so we took a bite inside. and ya, i puked it out later. we bought lots of.... secret.. haha! we noe can alr. haha. den after tt we went over to agus's hse. and we din noe tt its so damn big and glam and nice!!! oh manz!!! she even had a karaoke room and a pool table!!! cool manz! after tt, her bf changed to another car and sent us back to e hotel. we stop for a rest halfway as i said tt i felt like puking again. den agus and her bf went to packet dinner. we went back to e hotel and sat near e sea for dinner. nice place, but a lil spoilt by some big, black insects flying ard! haiz! but well, we wanted to go for massage but dey said we needa book. so we booked for appt e next morning. den we went back to rest. after washing up and snacking, i've decided to go to bed. but as i tot tt its cox my fren's bf drove us ard, tts y e motion sickness is still affecting me. but its not true! i slept and 9+ and woke up at 11+ feeling damn uncomfortable. body shivering, giddy, felt like puking. i tried to fall asleep again, but i realli cant tahan alr.. so i woke rebecca up.. sorry sweets.. thanks for waking up and taking care of me.. :) and yes, i vomitted again. there goes my dinner.. wen dawn and innyi came over, i told reb tt i cant take it anymore. i knew i need medication. so i requested to ask for doc. doc came immediately and say tt cox i din rest well after my seasick, and thus it din go away.. after med, e next morning, of cox i felt better.. a lot more better.. after breakfast, we went for a stroll on e beach, nice morning with e warm sun.. but its a lil hot lar. haha. well well,after tt we've got our spa.. nice one.. :) den its time to shower, pack up n head home :)
